These two drabbles were witten for the open_on_sunday drabble community. The theme for the week is 'Addictions'
They are both Spuffy although the first one is a little dark.

To Feel

Her fists struck repeatedly, the sound of her blows echoing back to her, strong and solid. As each forceful blow struck its unprotesting target it released more of the wondrous endorphins that dulled the pain clutching almost constantly at her heart. Her hands ached, the knuckles bruising from the repeated impact and she welcomed the pain as proof that she was real; was more than the empty, numb shell that had crawled out of what should have been its eternal resting place. She drew back to strike again, relishing the momentary feeling of power and life that the violence brought.

A Different Sort of Drug

Its warmth spread throughout his body, infiltrating every crevice of his being until he felt he would burst with it. He brushed gentle kisses against her hair, murmuring soft words of devotion as she slept, her strong little hand resting against his unbeating heart. His eyes drifted slowly closed, even as he fought to remain alert, to commit every second to memory for all eternity. Spike surrendered to her presence; her unique scent, the soothing rhythm of her heart, the gentle sound of her breath, the warmth of her body and that which he had craved throughout his existence. Love.

Thanks I'm glad you liked them! And no it isn't bad that it cracked you up... it is probably bad that I am evil enough to have made the icon in the first place! lol... it is snaggable with credit if you would like it!

Oh and I am getting to Reflection... I saw that it was up I just have to get there! lol... off to run the teenager to school for an exam now! Then maybe I will get some sit down in peace and read time! *kids!* lol.

LOL Okay- usually when I make more than one post on the same day, the first one gets lost in the shuffle. The next chapter is one that I'm particularly proud of, so I didn't want you to miss this one, since it kind of leads up to it...sorta ;-)

I'll definitely snag the icon for later use- stupid 100 icon limit, now I want 150 LOL! Hope you get some quiet time, for your own sake, very soon!

Thank you! I am glad you enjoyed them. The two extremes was actually unintentional... as I wrote the first one... and then the next day the muse hit at 3 am wanting to write the 2nd one... I guess I was just subconsciously balancing them out? Who knows! lol.
