Love at first sight
The moment he laid eyes on her he knew she was his. It was love at first sight. His eyes trailed slowly down her body taking in every exquisite curve, the sleek, powerful lines. He had to have her, simple as that. He was drawn, enthralled, towards her, until he was within touching distance. Mesmerised by her beauty he reached out tentatively.
“Uh, uh, uh. Hands off the merchandise.” The salesman stepped between them, eyeing him quickly before sneering dismissively, “Why don’t you just move on. I’m sure you’ll find something to your taste down at Budget Ben’s used cars.”

She handled like a dream, just as he’d known she would. His hands caressed the steering wheel as he planted his foot. He’d just take her for a little spin, he mused, breathing deeply to savour the rich scent of the new upholstery. Later he’d head back, pick up Dru and find something to wash the bitter after-taste of the salesman out of his mouth. For now there was just him and his girl and the long stretch of road before them.
