Unfortunately my allergies have got so bad that I can't even give him a pat without my eyes swelling closed, so he has been nothing more than a paddock ornament for the last few years. Sadi (along with our mare) will be going off to visit a friend of mine for an extended stay as she has lots of nice yummy grass for him to enjoy (and she will be giving the lazy sod some work too, but we won't tell him that).
As it has been raining here for the last few days and he currently looks like a bedraggled mud monster, here are some pictures I prepared earlier. LOL

Date: 29/1/09 09:30 pm (UTC)There are different strains of Arabian, some being more refined and others being more solid, but all should be very definitely arabian in movement, intelligence etc, so it sounds like you had a very lovely boy (quite possibly a high percentage Crabbet arabian which are much sought after for endurance racing). Sadi sits somewhere in the middle...he's not as refined as a straight egyptian (like Sadik), nor as solid as a pure Crabbet.
