Yeah, I know it was a little vague (sorry, but I wanted Spike to need to think about it for a minute so it had to be a little vague)...and I think some people are getting confused thinking itb is to do with Buffy's baking speech as opposed to Spike's 'Give me a crumb'

LOL... maybe it is a cultural thing? I never associated Spike's 'give me a crumb' with cookies, always with bread... but it seems a lot of people do think of cookies.

I think it may be a cultural thing. Obviously, real bread has crumbs, so the minature loaf is a perfect gift. I'm glad it took Spike awhile to figure it out, too. I can't remember when I've had real bread. pssst! The enriched, sliced, wrapped bread from the grocery store couldn't crumble if its life depended on it - it just sort of clumps into little balls that I used to use to feed the fish or the ducks at lakes - so I naturally thought of cookies. *g*
