Going FO

Okay... I posted this with the FO banner... but apparently (so I'm told) it isn't showing up in people's updates... so I'm reposting....

Due to time constraints I have decided to trim my flist and go Friends Only. Those being cut are people who don't appear to read my journal and there is absolutely nothing personal about it... if I am wrong and you DO read, no big, just let me know. So if I've de-friended you and you would like to read my non-fic posts just let me know or COMMENT HERE and I'll re-add you.

I would also like to take this time to invite anyone on my flist who doesn't read my journal (or if you are only interested in reading the fic please let me know) and who would like to defriend me but hasn't done so because they were worried they'd upset me or something--to go ahead, no hard feelings I promise!

If you are only here for fic those posts will remain public and/or you can join my updates list. 'Cause, honestly?... trying to keep up with my f'list lately is just about impossible.

Of course you're staying, sweetie. I only trimmed people who I don't think read my journal at all...not people who have just been busy lately.

I am just hoping no one's feelings are hurt, because if I've removed people who DO want to stay I am more than happy to add them back. I would just love to be able to actually read my flist and give it the attention it deserves and lately I just haven't been able to keep up.

It's tempting to do a big cut on my list, too. I understand being busy, but there are some ppl on my list (who added me first, mind you!) who have never commented on my journal. I don't quite see the point! lol

I don't mind if the people who aren't commenting ARE actually interested... I know some people are really shy about commenting... but as far as I can tell a lot of people's interests have drifted away from BtVS...or maybe they were just following one fic or something...

The only people I defriended are the ones who as far as I can tell never read my journal..so I didn't see why they would want to stay... but a few people have spoken up and let me know they do read...so that's cool.

Just go ahead and breeze over your FList postings without commenting, when you don't have time -- everyone will understand. I've been trying to do that myself, although I've been markedly unsuccessful.
