Ohhhh and maybe meeting this other 'spuffy' pair will teach Buffy something :) At last some confidence that Giles is able to come around Buffy being with Spike.

But, yes, seeing that Spike can be accepted by her watcher and friends wouldn't hurt Buffy--although events have played out differently in this dimesnsion, so these Scoobies and this world's Spike have a very different history.
