Hmmm... well, it doesn't have to be an AU - that time travel one sounds fun :) Can you imagine the snark once Spike realizes he's landed in the Middle Ages or something? Or in the middle of some kind of fantasy dimension or something with elves and dwarves and Buffy and Spike get thrown into it for a bit? *snickers* I can just hear the complaining now - from both of them :D
