I am not a baby!fic person.... to read or to write... if there happens to BE a baby, great, I'm happy for them... but I would never write a fic that centred around a baby--just not my cup of tea. As for claims; I quite like them, but I don't like the terribly cliche 'have control over the other' etc type claim... but more for it to be a vow and a commitment (much like a marriage) to each other.
As for Ethan--I adore writing him! The joy of someone chaotic is that they CAN be good or bad, or just simply sit back and do nothing. It is the unpredictableness of them that is so much fun. And I fell in love with the Giles/Ethan relationship while writing this and Days of Blood and Wine. If you want some really wonderful Giles/Ethan to read you HAVE to read rayne_y_daze' fics... she writes an Ethan that you just have to love.
I hope to have the next chap reasonably soon... although the lure of Photoshop is becomming increasingly hard to resist.
