For those on my F'list who like Harry Potter... you must check out talesofsnape (yes, our very own talesofspike, so you just KNOW it has to be good).

She writes a lovely little George/Hermione series: The Fireworks Series

And my personal favourite, her amazing Snape/Hermione series (don't be put off by the pairing, it is a grown-up Hermione and is just so beautifully written!) The Thorns Amongst the Blooms Drabble Series

She also has some wonderful standalone ficlets and drabbles.

I just had a conversation with my father (he isn't into HP either) where he mentioned that he thought that the HP books should've been told through Snapes POV bc he was a conflicted (and more interesting) character. Harry was good and you knew it from the first page of the first book that nothing was going to change that... In that light I sort of like Snape a little more. He's just so mean to the kids (in class etc.) that I have trouble with him.

Well I can tell the squirt is going to get up any second now. I can't wait till he sleeps LONGER!

I like Snape... have always liked him (and at times hated him LOL) He just such a wonderfully snarky character...and I have a thing for snark! LOL

Anyway, I better go...have a repairman coming soon to look at the rangehood so i better jump in for a quick shower before he gets here, then get started on getting this PC back up to speed. If you are around, I'll be on Ym (it was one of the first things I loaded LOL) after my shower.
