I need to clean their cage out today, but thought I'd get a few photos of them having fun before I disturb them.

We have a new little baby, she's a cute little cream and white red-eyed baby (although with the flash it's hard to see her markings), and she's just starting to feel confident getting around the cage.

Tha baby is adorable... she's still not sure about people and tends to be a little nervous with us, but is a much more boisterous personality than Mythril, so she is quite happy to wrestle with the equally boisterous Ivy and play tag around the cage. Mythril is much quieter and while she does join in sometimes, she is more inclined to just sit and watch the other two play.

The cage is an old parrot cage that I refurbished to be rat-friendly...the cage I REALLY want for them is much bigger. I keep dropping not-even-remotely-subtle hints to hubby, so I'm hoping.

We do try to keep their cage interesting--rats are very intelligent creatures, so they need lots of toys/activities to keep them from getting bored.
